Aphonic cabins are special sheet steel structures designed to encapsulate machines, lines and systems of various sizes and contain their noise. They are true industrial noise-proof booths custom-made to encapsulate and acoustically isolate rotating machinery, generator sets, industrial fans, compressors, centrifugal pumps, mechanical gearboxes and speed variators, turbines, and heat engines.
CLR provides construction solutions sized according to the characteristics of the machines to be soundproofed and with optimal acoustic performance for the specific application context.

Structure and materials of aphonic cabins

CLR soundproofing soundproofing cabins can be with or without a plinth and consist of

sheet steel supporting frame;
galvanised sheet steel plinth (if present) with lifting rings;
galvanised sheet steel infill panels with internal cladding in sound-absorbing material and perforated sheet metal or micro-stretched mesh for containment;
soundproofed air intakes for cabin ventilation;
fully bolted and easily removable frame and panelling.
