Droplet Separators

We produce droplet separators in standard or customised sizes. With these devices it is possible to separate water droplets carried away by the outgoing air flow (e.g. in air handling units, cooling towers, scrubbers) or to prevent water from entering through the air intake grilles of ventilation and air conditioning systems, in civil, industrial and naval applications.

The fins of the separators are assembled by interlocking to the self-supporting frame or by saddling. They can be of different types depending on the specific conditions of use and speed of passage: in this way, the separation of water droplets is effectively achieved, which then drain towards the drainage holes on the bottom of the frame.

Structure and materials of droplet separators

Our droplet separators consist of:

frame made of galvanised sheet steel or AISI 304 / 316L stainless steel or anodised/natural aluminium;
fins made of galvanised sheet steel/stainless steel/aluminium press-folded or by means of special extruded PP or aluminium profiles series 6060;
flanged frame uprights.
